The Portofino series is characterised by a broad beam, high freeboard and extended cockpit cum day saloon. The Portofino 53 presents the concept perfectly and in keeping with current concern to provide shade as well as sunpads, there is a retractable hardtop version as well as an open-cockpit model. Launch and retrieval of the tender garaged beneath the large sunpad aft is simplified by an optimal automated process, and the stern platform incorporates a retractable ladder.
