HULL

The hull topsides are sandwich construction using 25mm closed cell foam core and fiberglass reinforced vinylester laminate. The hull bottom is a single skin construction using fiberglass reinforced vinylester laminate.

The bottom is treated with 4 coats of epoxy primer.

All stiffeners, stringers and web frames are fiberglass with local unidirectional fiber reinforcements. The engine bed is reinforced with steel inserts.

The forepeak and lazarette structural bulkheads are watertight and built using sandwich construction of 30mm foam core and fiberglass reinforced vinylester laminate.

The main bulkhead forward of the saloon is sandwich construction using 20mm foam core and fiberglass reinforced vinylester laminate. The remaining structural bulkheads are marine ply. All bulkheads are laminated to the hull and deck.

The stainless steel headstay, main chainplates and backstay chainplates are bolted to the hull laminate.

White gelcoat hull with dark blue waterline and sheer stripes.

2 x pair of fixed ports in the hull at the main saloon.

Side Power 24volt bow thruster.

Side Power 24volt stern thruster.

Lead casting with antimony keel with fiberglass daggerboard providing 4'6" draft with the board in the up position.

The twin rudders are PVC foam cored fiberglass polyester laminate with a tapered high tensile stainless steel stock. The rudder is supported by two self-aligning bearings. There is a weed deflector in front of the rudder.

The mast is stepped through the deck onto a composite mast step.

All seacocks below the water line are bronze and mounted flush with the outside of the hull.

The transom folds down to form a full-sized swim platform with an integrated swim ladder. The helmsman's seat is integrated into the top of the transom when in the closed position. The transom is operated by hydraulic cylinders.



DECK

Sandwich construction using multiaxial fiberglass reinforced vinylester laminate with closed cell foam core. Deck is bonded to hull. High density closed cell foam or solid fiberglass is under deck fittings.

White gelcoat in places where there is no teak decking. Dark blue coachroof coaming stripe.

9mm teak decking on the side decks, cockpit floor, cockpit seats and swim platform. Teak is vacuum bagged and bonded to the fiberglass deck with epoxy adhesive and some screws in the perimeter planks. Teak toe rails. Teak footrests in the cockpit for the helmsman.

Lewmar V4, 24volt windlass with chain gypsy for 10mm chain. Remote control in the anchor locker.

Stainless steel stem head fitting with Delrin anchor rollers.

2 x Antal aluminum Genoa sheet tracks.

2 x Antal Genoa cars with adjustable pin stops.

Antal deck hardware for blocks, jammers and clutches.

Stainless steel bow and stern rails.

2 x pair of folding mooring cleats, 1 x pair forward and 1 pair aft.

2 x pair of additional folding mooring cleats, 1 pair midships and 1 pair aft.

2 x pair of fairleads for mooring cleats, 1 pair forward and 1 pair aft.

Stainless steel stanchions with double 1 x 19 stainless steel lifelines.

Lifeline gates port and starboard and in the stern rail.

Flagpole socket in the stern rail.

6 x Wichard folding padeyes in cockpit for jacklines.

4 x Wichard folding padeyes, 2 on each side deck, fore and aft, for check stays and jacklines.

2 x Wichard folding pad eyes for gennaker tack line forward.

1 x Wichard folding pad eye for inner forestay.

1 x Wichard folding pad eye for staysail tack.

2 x Wichard folding padeyes for preventer lines.

2 x Wichard folding padeyes for checkstay storage at main chainplates.

2 x Wichard folding pad eyes for jib in-hauler and Cunningham lines.

Recess to store the folded Dodger.

Storage locker in the cockpit.

2 x halyard lockers, 1 each side of the cockpit coaming.  

Propane tanks are stored in the bow locker.

10 x opening deck hatches.

4 fixed ports, 2 each side of deck coaming.

Teak cockpit table with folding leaves each side.

Composite steering pedestals with grab rails for the steering. Carbon fiber wheels.

All halyards and control lines are led under the deck to the winches.

ACCOMMODATIONS

GENERAL ARRANGEMENT

Sleeps 6 in 3 separate sleeping cabins plus 1 more in the main saloon for a total of 7. 2 heads and 1 stall shower. Satin varnished European oak furniture with whitewash treatment. Oak floorboards. Vinyl overhead panels.    

MASTER CABIN

Located in the bow with a double berth on the centerline. Foam mattress with ScandiFlex battens under for more comfort. 3 lee boards, 1 each side and 1 on the centerline. 2 drawers under the berth. 1 hanging locker each side aft. Aircraft lockers port and starboard and forward. Vanity aft with a mirror above.

MASTER HEAD and STALL SHOWER

Located immediately aft of the master cabin and on the starboard side. Head unit forward and stall shower aft of the head unit. White gel coated fiberglass unit to half height in the head and full height in the stall shower. Corian Countertop in the head. Mirror in head.

FORWARD PORT GUEST CABIN

Located immediately aft of the master cabin and opposite the master head. Double pullman type berth outboard. Hanging locker forward and inboard. Outboard and above the bunk are aircraft lockers.

MAIN SALOON

"U" shaped dinette to port with 2, director style, single seats inboard of the table. Lockers outboard and either side of the hull windows.

NAVIGATION STATION

Located opposite the dinette and on the starboard side.

GALLEY

"L" shaped. Located aft of the navigation station and on the starboard side. Countertops are Corian. Stainless steel sink. Lockers outboard as well as over the sink. Force 10 gimballed 3 burner propane stove with oven outboard. Front loading fridge and top loading freezer run off the 24volt house batteries. Waste bin under the sink.

AFT HEAD

Located immediately after of the dinette and on the port side. Gel coated white fiberglass unit to half height. Stainless steel sink. Mirror. Lockers outboard. Telephone type shower.

 

AFT PORT GUEST CABIN

Located immediately after of the aft head. Double berth. Hanging locker forward. Aircraft lockers above and outboard.

AFT STARBOARD STORAGE

Opposite the port guest cabin and aft of the galley is a large storage area accessed from the galley.

Yanmar 4JH 110CR diesel engine

Thermostatically controlled, fresh water cooled engine, with heat exchanger

Heat exchanger heats the fresh water in the hot water tank when the engine is running

ZF25A transmission with 2.714:1 reduction

Dual fuel filter allows for continuous running of the engine while filters are changed

PLUMBING and VENTILATION

Pressurized hot and cold freshwater system.

Water filler line goes to a valve chest. The valve chest provides water to each tank and the water pressure pumps.

Hot and cold fresh water is provided to each of the heads and the galley.

193 gallons of water in 2 tanks

The hot water tank can be heated either by the engine cooling water or the AC electrical system.

Hot water capacity is 13.2 gallons.

There is a hot and cold water deck shower installed at the swim platform.

Grey water is pumped directly overboard.

Each head is connected to one black water tank. There is an option to pump into the tank or directly overboard. The black water tank has a capacity of 31.7 gallons.

There is also a deck suction line to empty the black water tanks.

Sea Recovery Ultra Whisper water maker, 95liters per hour with remote control in the galley.

Heads are electric Jabsco PAR Quiet Flush.

3 electric bilge pumps, 1 in the forepeak, 1 in the main bilge, and 1 in the lazarette.

3 manual Whale bilge pumps, 1 in the forepeak, 1 in the cockpit, and 1 in the saloon.

MarineAir, air conditioning, 41,000BTU with reverse cycle heating in all cabins.

Hella turbo fans, 1 in each cabin.

Galley extractor fan.

Engine room extractor fan.

Battery box is vented with a blower up the mast to the outside.

230volt 50Hz AC system.

24volt DC system.

230volt, 50amp, AC shore power inlet.

15m shore power cord.

110amp alternator off the engine for charging house batteries.

120amp 12volt alternator for charging the start battery.
