HULL CONSTRUCTION AND BUILD FEATURES HOMECOMING was built to DNV classification and MCA compliance and features an optimized design that maximizes safety and environmental elements. For this build, Horizon switched from polyester resin to vinylester for the structural elements including the hull, topsides and superstructure, as vinylester has shown to better resist osmotic blistering. HOMECOMING was also tested extensively to exceed the damage and stability requirements of the IMO HSC2000. The Espinosa/Marshall styling and design of HOMECOMING is further improved by efficiency-minded details such as low-level LED lighting throughout, large props with small shafting angles, fuel filling stations with overflow alarms, IMO-approved water treatment and water treated stern bearings. HOMECOMING also received full Axalta Standox paint finish on hull and superstructure. INTERIOR DECORATING FEATURES The interior is covered in rich dark premium wood with a high gloss finish and framed buryl inlays on the all walls. Rich marble adorns the floors throughout and every room was appointed its own unique marble package making each as beautiful and unique as the next. The interior is classic and purposely understated as to not be gaudy or ostentatious. Brand new headliners have been installed throughout the vessel and all the hand woven carpets have been meticulously cleaned. The light color combination from the paneling above and the carpet below give the perfect contrast to the dark wood making the entire boat and her tonality work for the most discerning owner. There is immense storage throughout the interior as well. Large pantries in the galley, luggage store in the guest area companionway, oversized closets, and storage in the mechanical areas make this vessels interior volume on of the largest I have seen in a yacht this size. The feeling of openness the décor offers along with the design aspects of her interior give her a great balance which traveling owners and guests will covet. Her spiral staircase rising through all levels with a skylight above was a design highlight for me, truly a work of art built into the center of the yacht.
